It's not a hat....

What are you making now? I am sure I am not the only one who gets asked this question every time you start something new. Truth be told it kind of bugs me. I mean the universal answer is pretty much, something
to keep me sane of course. And when that doesn't work I simply  say you will have to wait and find out. Funny thing is my kids always assume it's a hat. No not everything I crochet is a hat...

I'm not really loving the finished outcome of my wonky square here. But it will work for the front room where I am getting all matchy matchy for some reason...I have never been a "themed" decor person but I guess that is changing.

In other news I have 53 days until my birthday and I have decided I want to lose 20lbs by then. I have stocked up on fruits and veggies and hung up a countdown pad over my treadmill. I am determined to actually like myself  for my 32nd year of life. Something I haven't really felt ever...So if you have any tips and tricks to keep me on the straight and narrow I am all ears...

I kinda like it when people ask me what I'm making. Much better than being asked what I do.
I'm makinh a cardi, a cushion back, breakfast and some dresses.
Have a wonderful day.

I always think it's quite funny when strangers ask me what I'm making, because they always look surprised when I say a bear or a rabbit etc.
I love your square, and I can't see any wonk.

I think you're little space is so adorable!

I've done weight watchers for years and it's the only sane diet I've ever tried. I'm always suggesting it to friends and bloggers who are looking to lose some weight :)

Good luck on your weight loss journey!

Love the colour Amanda, and the pretty space too.
Good luck with the birthday goal - wish I could give you some advice - but I am not a good example!

The only reason I'm not keen on the 'Watcha making?' question is that after I tell them, invariably the response n 'Oh'.

I'd like some tips on your extra kilos too. I don't do diet but I reckon I'd feel a whole lot comfier in my skin without those mysterious 5kg that seem to have appeared out of NOWHERE.

Love the color in your square. I like to eat lots of homemade soups. They are filling and satisfying and no salt like the ones you buy. Multi- grain cereals and yogurt/fruit smoothies are all good things that really help me.
