When the going gets tough...

The Tough get going..........Right?

Well I am determined to, seems I have been at a weight loss plateau for about a month...4lbs of baby weight left and it won't budge which to me means major overhaul...

Now first of all my first goal is to get all the baby weight off and then 30lbs more after that...So although I wish these last few pounds of baby weight were it they are far from such...

For starters I have been adding some great things to my diet..

Matcha Green Tea Powder (1/2 lb.) (we all know this stuff is good for us)

Chia Seeds 2 Pounds yep, cha cha cha chia......Google it, the health benefits are insane. And I will vouch and say this stuff keeps my energy levels perfect all day, just add a few teaspoons to some juice the night before and drink it up in the morning...It's strangely addicting...

and

Vita Coco 100% Pure Coconut Water, 11.2-Ounce Containers (Pack of 12) Mainly because I am not a huge water drinker..And this helps replenish electrolytes after my workouts

I have cut out all fast food and soft drinks and my soda replacement is now this yummy stuff I found last year at Fort Polk....  Steaz Green Tea Soda Set

And I can proudly say my blender and juicer get a daily workout because of my Green smoothies and juice veggie drinks....

If you know me then it is no surprise that I love to workout..It's weird I know, who loves to workout??? If it wasn't totally completely unrealistic I would workout like 5hrs a day who has that kind of time?  But I do average close to 2hrs (when I am in the groove)

What do I do....

Well Treadmill time is always a surefire sweat fest...A combo of running and incline walking with my trusty ipod at my side. And my favorite EVER workouts have got to be Tae Bo Amped Deluxe with Amplifier Bar 6 DVDs 7 workouts! I can not say enough great things about Tae Bo I have followed from the beginning and I would have to say this particular workout is the cream of the crop, and I am happy to do them 5 days a week Amped helped me shed the weight when Hubby first left for Iraq and I am back full time for some more...Bring it!! A few recent additions to my growing workout library are Jillian Michaels - 30 Day Shred which I only attempted for a few days before becoming lazy and not following through...But everywhere you read this thing has some serious good reviews so I am anxious to start over and finish it. It's only 20 mins and you feel great afterwards...And lastly "for now" I just got Mari Winsors new pilates program and after doing the first day HOLY COW my abs were killing..I am an aggressive workout person I love to get physical and rough so when I was doing the short soft spoken gentle workout I figured bleh this isn't for me. Til I woke up the next morning with sore sore sore abs...Gonna take this one seriously too...So yeah I am nuts, crazy, bonkers whatever you call it but for my sanity I need to do this and do it right....

Which brings me to the best part of this whole thing..A website my friend recently pointed me to that wraps this all up in a neat little package....My Fitness Pal. If you ever struggle with keeping track of the whole losing weight process this website is for you.

Somewhere in all of this I have to find time to be crafty because after all that keeps me sane. But this gives you an idea of what I am doing during my quiet times..Oh and then of course there is the 5 kids and such...

And in case you are wondering I do plan to post my progress updates and the prized before and after pics so keep an eye out.....if you are interested in that sort of thing....

Nice post! I have been using the Winsor Pilates DVD at home trying to lose some weight as I have no time to go to the gym as I have a very busy working schedule, and to tell you the truth it is really working.
