My Creative Space

Sharing the space this week, my end of the deal is slow going these days. I have created two project areas, one upstairs and one down. The hat I was working on upstairs is completed but I am still pushing through to get this dress finished. We're talking almost 4 skeins of yarn (and not little skeins either) I had no clue this thing would be such a job...I can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel though. Just hope the daughter is ready to model it for me.

Speaking of Daughter! She is too cute sometimes, last night she asked to use a scrap of fabric that I had laying around. I had no idea why but I agreed of course.  So today  as I was putting laundry away the polk-a-dot fabric caught my eye.  She used it to make a patch on her "very expensive Abercrombie" pants that she destroyed. Thank goodness they were gifted to her and it wasn't something I spent the money on. But she did catch heck from mom and dad so I think this was an attempt to save them...

Thanks Kirsty for Creative Space. It helps me to find that little bit of time each week for me :)

Clever girl! Lots of lovely coming along though. And your new header is fantastic!

I love that you just came accross her clever handy work by accident without her showing you. You must have felt a bit proud of her effort. Good for you for continuing with the dress. I have a half crocheted dress here somewhere that I ran out of wool for (after 4 balls).
