My Creative Space

It's all about trying to conquer the Christmas To-Do list....I have been indulging in my nesting instincts as well so it's been a bit of a battle these days...

First, I just started a Market bag for my sister...Perfect for strolling the Farmers Market down by the beach where she lives...So Lucky!!

And the BIG project I have decided to embark on.....Several bags/purses/pouches from Scott's uniforms some of which have been to Iraq..."Yes they have been washed" :P
I figured these would be great gifts for his family I just need to get the nerve to cut into them...

I am sure next week's Creative Space will be showing these in more productive state but for now this is what I got....:)

What a great idea to use your husbands old uniforms to make things out of. It's fantastic!

Glad to see you're still fitting in some crochet in amongst the nesting too!

Love the colours of your knit and good Luck with the uniforms. I'd be a little nervous too! Your Halloween pics are also adorable by the way! The teddy bear outfit turned out wonderfully despite the head split. xo Meagan.

I made heaps of bags out of Bren's old work pants last year and they were great except for cutting through all those thick side seams. I can't wait to see what you end up with. Loving the colour of that wool.
