It's all about trying to conquer the Christmas To-Do list....I have been indulging in my nesting instincts as well so it's been a bit of a battle these days...
First, I just started a Market bag for my sister...Perfect for strolling the Farmers Market down by the beach where she lives...So Lucky!!
And the BIG project I have decided to embark on.....Several bags/purses/pouches from Scott's uniforms some of which have been to Iraq..."Yes they have been washed" :P
I figured these would be great gifts for his family I just need to get the nerve to cut into them...
I am sure next week's Creative Space will be showing these in more productive state but for now this is what I got....:)

Looks like you are going to be really busy. Goods luck with making that first cut, I am a big chicken with things like that.

I made heaps of bags out of Bren's old work pants last year and they were great except for cutting through all those thick side seams. I can't wait to see what you end up with. Loving the colour of that wool.

wow, making things out of old uniform is great idea!!! Over here all men keep them like it is some kind of a little temple =p so I find it amazing that you going to do something with it!!!

I find cutting into anything scary, let alone something with potential sentimental value! Good luck with it - can't wait to see what you do with the uniforms.
