My Creative Space

Is mainly in the kitchen this week (currently baking a super yummy cheesecake) gearing up for Thanksgiving...Hubby missed it last year since he was in Iraq so this year he plans on having me make up for it, we have so much food it will take a week even for our big family to finish it all...But it's what he wants so that's what he's getting...:) I will have to take a pic tomorrow once it is all served up...

Other then that I have gotten a few other crafty things accomplished as well....

I finished the tote bag for Scott's mom (she likes purple) and am working on some hot-pads for his dad, who is the cook of his house....

And I am slowly getting this shawl finished, isn't it lovely...Can't wait to finish it!!!!

I hope everyone is having a great week and make sure to check out all the other Creative Spaces over at Kirsty's

The shawl is my favourite, although the bag is nice because of it's deeply personal meaning. Keep working away! xox m.

What you are doing with the old uniform is just awesome, you're so clever. Happy Thanksgiving, such a lovely tradition, it's kind of sad that we don't have something similar here in Australia.

Ooh I do love a shawl in soft wool. The present of anything that aids in cooking is always a winner I believe.

Oh wow! I totally love the shawl! I've been meaning to learn how to crochet for ages - finally picked up the hook and yarn the other day and feel all thumbs! I can't believe how difficult it seems!

Your beautiful shawl is good inspiration to keep going though :)
