My Creative Space

This week...

I am really trying to get all this "making" stuff out of the way (mainly the christmas to-do list) because........ IT'S OFFICIAL....Scott got his orders and we are headed to Fort Irwin, California in just about 2 months, So so so relieved to finally have the official papers.

Time to get busy and start packing at least while I can still sort of move around with this growing belly. So the challenge, trying to figure out how we are going to accomplish the holidays, a move and a baby in the same time period....Yep I am silently screaming my head off...But I won't get too stressed I promise, how can you with tons of good stuff coming our way. On to a little of what I am doing.....

More uniform stuff...Which means a messy messy dining room table, blah.

Tote bag in progress, haven't decided exactly how I want to do the strap/s so it's patiently waiting for me. I am especially proud of my pocket replacement, not that it looks to creative but this pocket was on his pants and I removed it "intact" and placed it on the shirt (well what's left of the shirt). Nifty ehh?? It's the little things that please me.

Oh and as if you haven't noticed...I am slowly trying to set up a new face for my blog...Problem is I can't figure out why my dang photoshop won't cooperate so it's just the basic fiddle faddle for now...Hope to work on a header soon. Sorry for the big blah of one at the moment...

Way to refashion those garments! Nice work. And good luck with fiddle-faddling. Can be frustrating, can't it?

I know you still want to work on a header, but I am LOVING the new look...!

Loving what you're doing with all that army material but i especially love that crocheted bonnet from last week. Can't wait to see the pattern, even if I don't know how to crochet yet. xo m.

Busy place, but good things! I have a friend who had a baby the week before she moved (and she had a two-year-old, too). Crazy, but fun times!

Congratulations! Being sure of the move must be a great relief for you. Loving the re-fashioned totes. Good luck with all the packing etc. and with working out the page settings... it often infuriates me too so hope it all works out well. K

I love the new look of your blog - and great new word to add to my collection: fiddle-faddling - that made me laugh! Nice work on the pocket too.

You're one very busy woman already...let alone over the next two months...I am tired thinking about it. Congratulations on getting the official papers for your move finally. Peta
