My Creative Space

Yay it's time for me to check out all the creative spaces over at Kirsty's come play along or just be nosey and check them all out :)

This is my last week of "must crochet" hats...So guess what I am doing?? Going hat crazy. My goal is to have 40 items to send to her and I am more then halfway there woot woot!!!

So here is my end of the dining table...Of course a tad more organized then usual for the picture. I am loving the black and white flower hats the only thing is the buttons I have used for my pink hats and these (and the few in the bottom corner) are from New York and well I can't just pop over there and get more...I think I need to make a friend in NYC to do some shopping for me. Cause no matter how hard or long I look I can't find them anywhere..grrrr

Oh and look at this...I even took a few minutes to clean up my small fabric stash :) I am hoping to do a little sewing next week to give my fingers a break from crochet.

The buttons are prefect. Maybe you need to take a trip to New York to make a friend in person! Sounds like a great plan to me....!!

How productive of you! Organizing AND completing a bazillion hats all at once!

OK, so I know crochet is fast, but you must be a Machine!! If I've done my maths right (no guarantee here) you're going to get nearly 20 items finished in one week. Even if you've nearly finished most of them I'd think that was amazing :-)

P.S. Thanks for dropping by my space ;-)

Wow, what a lovely exciting creative space. You're very busy. 40 hats!! Are you making them for a market? They look great. I love the flowers. Perhaps you could look online for a button supplier. Love your fabric stash too.

Cute hats. I hope the buttons turn up soon, that sort of thing happens to me all the time, and usually when I stop looking for them, they are turn up.

Nice hats! Shame about the 'crochet hands' isn't it? sometimes I feel disappointed that I have discovered this craft so late in life - how long before I will have to stop with arthritic hands?!

Those hats look gorgeous, I'd love to be able to crochet, I have two little ones that would look so sweet in those. Looks like a very productive space this week, 40 hats and tidy as well!! Well done!

How cool are these little flowers?? I love crochet... from afar. One day I will actually learn how to do it, and then it too will be hat overload.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and for leaving a comment! I don't get a lot of comments so I practically jump up and down when I do..hehe. Your hats look wonderful and I scrolled down and saw that bracelet. It's fantastic! Good luck getting all of your hats done. I can't wait until I can craft again!

I can't believe how fast you must be able to crochet those stunning hats. They are beautiful (I have crocheted about a dozen granny squares in 10 months, so you can see why I'd be pretty impressed!)

Wow! What gorgeous hats! I have a love for crocheting hats too but have injured my thumb from making too many. How's your thumb going?

Christina Lowry said...

40! 40? I can't even make one! Hope you find some more of those buttons, they are very sweet.

Tidying up my space always makes me feel like making something, which usually includes making another mess!

:)
