A Faire to remember....

Yesterday was another one of our California adventures...We went to the Renaissance faire and had a blast. My sister her friend my dad, me and the kids all met up to experience this crazy faire.  Where was Scott?? Oh he's in the field, yep after 3 weeks of school and getting 4th highest score in the class they said " It's about time someone from our unit got on the Commandant's list  now go in the field for 10 days". Which sucked because we originally scheduled to go on this trip specifically for Scott but that's Army life.

Have you ever been to a Renaissance fair? It really is a blast, the one thing I really appreciated was the affordability of all the activities. I suppose because you are not paying to win a toy and are just doing it for the experience they don't really need to charge a lot. So the A's got to try out a few things like...

Archery.....

Javelin throw

And Cross Bow

And when they got hungry???

It was all about the Turkey legs....

But the part you should be warned about before even thinking about going to this faire is the overload of boobage you are going to see...I could have gone my whole  life without seeing all those "overflowing" chests..Even more I could have gone my WHOLE life not hearing my dad ask me if I had seen this one or that one..Seriously dad, seriously.......

This is about as mild as it got...And if you look in the back left corner you can see what kept my dad entertained....

But really this was a great way to spend a Saturday...Especially since the kids were so entertained they didn't gripe or fight....I think our next adventure will be camping. Although I know that will be full of sibling bicker, maybe I'll rethink it...:)
