skirt for the squirt

For the first time in what feels like forever I have managed to pick up the hook and finish something in the same day. I have been on the go non-stop since my last post. And man do I miss being crafty.

Thank goodness for stash yarn laying around and hooks sitting in just about every nook of the house. I saw THIS stitch pattern on Pinterest and had to make something out of it. I didn't do the
front post dc's but it's cute regardless IMO.

I did modify it to work in the round but it wasn't too much hassle. And now the teenage daughter wants one. She requested one in blue. So maybe she will model that one for me...Maybe....

It is lovely. You should make a deal with your teenager to model for the skirt.

I somehow found your blog and just love the homemade knitted and crocheted outfits your kids wear.

You may like to visit this blog. Jodie at Jellywares has some lovely ideas for knitting and crocheting kids clothes and adult fashion too. She also sells yarn. Enjoy!

Me, I am a knitter of dish cloths and that is where my talent ends. :)
