My Creative Space

Working on little grannies...I thought at first I would make a scarf but I am thinking perhaps place mats??? Maybe sew them to linen??? It will take me a while but I think the colors pop against the color of my table. What do you think?

And I have to say thank you all so much for the positive thoughts during my rough Creative Space last week. Scott was able to reserve a spot at our desired post. So although I refuse to jump up for joy just yet. On Nov 5th he will not only sign the papers making it official. But he will qualify for his bonus so if all goes as planned we will be on our way to C.A come January sometime...Still undecided if we are going to try to squeeze moving in before the baby comes or wait til after...

I guess it's a classic case of "be careful what you wish for" :)...But you know what, it's all good. Because instead of being 1600 miles from my family we will only be 160 and I will get to share the joys of the new baby and the rest of the gang with them!!!!

So thank you again. It means the world to me...

Back to Creative Spacing...Thank you Kirsty for Hosting!

Glad to hear things are looking up... best wishes as you keep waiting.

On the creative side... LOVE the teeny tiny grannies, and I personally think they would team up beautifully with linen. Yes, linen-and-crochet placemats, or even a linen-and-crochet scarf for something different and a bit classy.... mmm, linen!

Thank goodness. 160 kilometres sounds a whole lot better than 1600. Although I can't help thinking, if one was to sit in the passenger seat of a car for 1600kms, imagine how many tiny grannies you could make!
