OK so I am guilty for giving in to the toddler of the house.. I know I know bad mom..But sometimes I think by giving in to what he wants he will find out he doesn't want it/like it and move on...Well in today's lesson that wasn't the case..
Shay decided to wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning..And I was not ready to deal with tantrums...He initially wanted a Popsicle for breakfast..UMMM no not happening..But after I sat down with my coffee and ignored his whines he went into the fridge and pulled out the creamer (french vanilla coffee mate) Walked over to the table and asked for some...
I told him ewwww you won't like that it's not milk and went on with my spiel but he was very calm and direct about his desires so I said ok fine...Totally thinking he would not like it..WHAT WAS I THINKING!!! I gave him a little...And of course he Loved it and then the wonderful tantrums started up again...Somebody give me a power button...

Oh my. I so understand how you're feeling. And yes, I tried this once too. It involved syrup back then, pure, not watered down. I thought it was too sweet to drink, so sweet you could feel your teeth hurt ;-) But Lucas loved it! I'm never using that strategy again :-D
I think you look more than productive enough! Lots of lovely hats to share...
That's a great story - I think every mum can relate!
